Mack and Marilyn Locklear arrived in Jamaica in September of 1996 with the purpose of spreading the gospel of Christ to a lost and dying country. Little did they know, that 16 years later, their ministry would consist of an established church, Riverside Baptist, and more recently, Noah's Ark Children's Home.
Construction on the home began in January 2010. After two and one half years, construction was completed in June 2012. During the entire process, God has been faithful to supply every need. HE has proven over and over, that this is HIS perfect will for this ministry. The home will house 20 children at full capacity. We are in the final stages for licensing for the Jamaican government. As soon as our license is issued we will start accepting children into the home.
Dewayne and Kristy Franks, along with their two girls, Claire and Rachel, joined the ministry in July 2012. They will be the Assistant Directors of Noah's Ark Children's Home. They are in the process of raising their personal support to be on the mission field.
Ray Goolesby joined the ministry in the summer of 2011. He will be a missionary helper at the home. He is also raising personal support to be on the mission field.
Please be in prayer for the children's home and staff. Pray that the needs of the home will continue to be met and that God will continue to receive all the glory!
